How to Access a Domain Controller From a Remote OS

A domain controller is simply a Windows server that has been set up to coordinate the activities between the computers that connect to it and that are part of the domain that it oversees. If you want to access this server from a remote operating system, you can do so by using the Windows Remote Desktop Connection software, which allows you to connect to a remote computer over the Internet or over a network connection.
Introduction:
1. Open the "Start" menu on your local computer and click on the "All Programs" folder.
2. Click "Accessories," then open the "Remote Desktop Connection" software program.
3. Type the network name or IP address of the domain controller into the Remote Desktop Connection Client window, then press the "Enter" key.
